Regiones Biogeográficas Terrestres y Regiones Marinas

Las Regiones biogeográficas muestran la extensión de las áreas con características climáticas, orográficas y geobotánicas comunes.

La Directiva Hábitat establece siete regiones biogeográficas, cuatro de ellas presentes en España: Alpina, Atlántica, Macaronésica y Mediterránea.

Además esta capa incluye las regiones marinas: Atlántica, Mediterránea y Macaronésica utilizadas en el reporte del artículo 17 de la Directiva Hábitat.
