Mortalidad estacional de aves en una carretera del P.N. de L'Albufera de Valencia (E. España).

The aim of this study was to assess the impact of traffic on ornithofauna in the Natural Park of L'Albufera. Weekly transects were made during an annual cycle. Passerines were the most frequent victims, especially house sparrow (most frequently found in lagoon and ricefield), robins (equally runover in three habitats: lagoon, ricefield and shrubland) and Sylvia spp. (most frequently on ecotone).

El objetivo de este estudio fue valorar el impacto del tránsito sobre la ornitofauna del Parque Natural de l’Albufera. Se realizaron transectos semanales durante un año. Los paseriformes fueron las víctimas más frecuentes, especialmente el gorrión común (que frecuenta más las lagunas y arrozales), el petirrojo (atropellado de forma igual en tres hábitats: lagunas, arrozales y arbustivos) y Sylvia spp. (más atropellada en ecotonos).
